This is a live recording of Voice Workshop’s ‘Life Cycle of the Voice’ day delivered and written by leading expert Dr Jenevora Williams. This day forms part of the MA Professional Practice (Voice Pedagogy) run in association with University of Wales Trinity St David. The lecture day is based on extensive research and a list of the research is included in full for each chapter.
The films cover the development of the voice through childhood and adolescence, with detailed guidance on how to get the most from these young singers without pushing them beyond their safe limits. We then move through the hormonal changes that affect women in their adult life, and end with some positive ways to ensure that older singers can sing well and stay healthy with it.
The films are available in either one complete package, or in three separate chapters.
