Seminar – Emotions, learning and dealing with fear

We can glean much from the last 50 years of education research; what are the best models for teaching style and learning environments?

Alongside this information, we will look into the neurological systems governing our responses at a much deeper level: the autonomic nervous system and vagal responses.

When we understand the effect of fear and anxiety on our performing experience, we can relate this to the teaching environment. This includes consideration of the language we choose, and a look at the senses and multi-sensory learning. The brain will learn more effectively in a safe and happy environment, with the right level of stimulation and association.
